EASILY  FORMATTING YOUR WORKS CITED PAGE

  1. You must have all of your source pages with you. Double check that  you have as much information from your sources as possible.
     

  2. Go to www.easybib.com
     

  3.  From the first dropdown menu, choose the TYPE of source (book, article, etc.) Make sure you choose from the appropriate section: electronic or print

o        Electronic articles are the ones you found online.
 

  1. Answer the “How did you find it?” question from the drop down menu, then hit “next”
     

  2. Depending on the type of source you have chosen, the next screen will ask you a series of questions about your source. Fill in as much information as you have available. When you are finished, hit “submit”
     

  3. The next screen will give you your completed citation. You have the option to edit the citation if you left something out or typed incorrectly. Be sure to proofread this screen carefully!
     

  4. You must copy this citation onto a Microsoft Word document. You can either:

    o        highlight the citation and COPY it into your own Word document (if you choose this option, you must put your list in alphabetical order according to the first word in the entry.

    OR

    o        continue adding all your sources and then hit “View formatted list online” and save the document you are shown.
     

  5. Once you have saved your Works Cited Document, upload it to turnitin.com
